Apostle Dr. Cleophus Eugene McNutt was born to the Late Rufus & Saline McNutt on March 19, 1949 in Warterloo, Mississippi.

He was educated in the Walicoochie County School System and graduated from Walicoochie County High School in 1966.

Apostle McNutt received Christ at the tender age of three years old after having a fiery encounter with the Lord. He awakened out of sleep yelling, “I’m Burning… Please Put It Out;” while running through the house. When his parents caught him and calmed him down to see what was wrong, he told them of a dream he had where God told him He was setting him on fire and he wanted him to go tell the World to Get Right or Get Left.

Apostle McNutt’s parents took him to their pastor, Rev. Henry Youngblood who confirmed his call into the ministry and at the age of five years old, Apostle McNutt preached his first sermon entitled, “Turn or You Gone Burn!” at Old Time Holiness True Faith Apostolic Temple Church.

Apostle was licensed shortly after his first sermon in January of 1955 by the United Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. And later ordained a Elder in 1965 under the leadership of Bishop Lewis Tenderfoots.

Apostle McNutt received his first pastorate at the age of 19 at Pinney Grove United Apostolic Church of God in Christ.

While at the district meeting of the United Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. Southeastern West District #2, he met the first love of his Life, Emmagene Tenderfoots.

Emmagene and Apostle McNutt were married in holy matrimony July 29, 1969. They were happily married for 10 years until her untimely death due to a Heart Attack.

After the death of Sis. Emmagene, Apostle McNutt left Pinney Grove and accepted the pastorate at True Full Gospel Apostolic Temple Church. It would be there Apostle McNutt found second time love with Unice Lighfoot. They were married on July 29, 1980.

In 1981, Apostle McNutt was elevated and consecrated to the office of Bishop in the United Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. Under the leadership of Apostle Eddie Lee Culpepper.

Ten days after his consecration, Apostle McNutt lost his precious Unice of what was deemed natural causes.

For the next few years Apostle McNutt buried himself with the work of the ministry. He grew his Diocese from 12 churches to 35 churches in just 3 short years. He was elevated and consecrated to the Office of Apostle and 1st Presiding Prelate of the United Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith, Inc.

In 1986, Apostle McNutt left True Full Gospel to one of his sons in the ministry to Go start his present day work, We Don’t Do That Over Here In Holiness Freewill Missionary Baptist Church of God In Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc.

Shortly after the start of this work, he met his third time love, Alma Sue Goodfoot. They were married July 29 1987. Sis Alma Sue was truly a asset to the ministry. Everyone loved her finesse and grace. She worked along aside Apostle McNutt everywhere she could for 20 years.

She was his biggest supporter until her untimely death in Afghanistan when she was shot by the Tallaban because she ducked when she should have weaved. After the death of Alma Sue, Apostle McNutt has decided not to marry again unless the Lord tells him to do so because the pain of loss is just to great.
